Prompted! Vol. 1: 2026

A literary yearbook of poetry and short fiction

Prompted! is an annual anthology of poetry and short fiction by Eric Montgomery, bringing together work written throughout the year in response to a variety of writing prompts.

The first volume gathers roughly 365 pieces written during 2026, including work inspired by Montgomery's own AmpersandAfterDark writing prompts, which he hosts on Bluesky. Together, they form a literary record of a year spent writing.
